Better Prices for MassCash Customers
Investing in a new price management system from QBCon will make business even healthier for MassCash Namibia and its retailers. The new system will computerise the price collection from various manufacturers, giving independent retailers the chance to personally maintain prices from manufacturers and/or suppliers to make more profitable decisions when purchasing products.
MassCash needed an application to calculate and compare the best price deals from various suppliers for independent traders buying through the group. To accomplish this, MassCash needs to shift through tens of thousands of line items to compile the best deals for their customers. The greater the number of deals they can compile the greater the volume of sales. To automate and speed up the process of shifting through line items, MassCash selected the business solution provider QBCon to design and implement a price maintenance system. The system will update all prices from various suppliers in MassCash Namibia’s 50 retail stores. With the new system, MassCash retailers will always be able to select the best possible price.
Prices from suppliers and manufacturers will be imported to a central database and exported as a single price data file according to area. The retailers will receive different files containing separate data and the prices from various suppliers according to the area they operate in.
Once the retailer receives these files via email, the files will be imported to the retailer’s system. Retailers will have the advantage of comparing prices directly from the price file, which will make it possible to choose the best possible price according to the supplier’s price, promotion or pick-up location.
