QBCon reacts to relocation of Progress Software SA

QBCon assures its customers that Progress Software SA’s recent relocation to the EMEA Headquarters in Rotterdam, Netherlands, won’t have any negative effect on QBCon’s services. Albi Investment Group Services (AIGS) is now the new Progress distributor in South Africa.

“The service delivery and support we offer to our clients will not be influenced by Progress Software SA’s recent move,” says Gustav Piater, chief executive officer of QBCon. “Our relationship with Albi Investment Group Services (AIGS)  and Progress will continue to grow, as we continue to provide our clients with the best software solutions on the market.”

As independent software vendor, QBCon’s business relationship with Progress Software and its distributors are built on a collaborative working relationship of over a decade and includes the following clients and projects:

- The development and maintenance of a financial system for the Agricultural Research Council;

- The development of a manufacturing system for Pretoria Metal Pressing Systems;

- The development of an integrated financial system, QBFin for Namibian retail chain Woermann & Brock.

Rick Parry, managing director of AIGS, ensures that Progress’ expertise will continue to exist in South Africa.
