In 2005, Bioindustrial Services, a laboratory in Kempton Park, identified certain bottlenecks that prohibited the company from growing. “Our work used to be 50% documentation and paperwork and 50% results,” said Rajna Towers, founding member and managing director of Bioindustrial Services. Report back: Shield Day
The QBCon team paid a visit to Namibia during April, where they exhibited at the Shield Day Expo as a guest of Massmart. This expo gave the suppliers to Shield the opportunity to present their products and interact with visitors to the expo.
“The expo was very successful. Our goal was to present QBCon and its products to the members of Shield Buying and Distribution, and we did so with great success,” said Winston Connor, sales manager at QBCon.
“We came back with nine new leads of individuals who are interested in what we have to offer and we also had the opportunity to present QlikView. Shield Day was a great networking opportunity, and we’ll definitely attend such an expo again.”
